Tides of War

My game (US version, Gold downloaded) seems to crash alot when I order ahead flank.

When ever I order ahead flank, the crew starts to reply "ahead flank...." and the sound starts stuttering. Sometimes when that happens, the game will crash

I have a Pentium 4 3.2gig HT

ati radeon x800 (latest drivers)

Sound blaster audigy

2 gigs of ram

THis does not happen whenever I order any other type of speed change

Any help is muchly appreciated. I like the game but I cant seem to finish a mission without it crashing.

Re-install and patch to Gold.

I had this problem, doing a fresh install and patch before playing worked for me.

lower the sound hardware accel. in DXDiag

well, I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now my speech is not recognize. For example: I say Ahead one third the game thinks I said cut engines etc. If I keep on saying Ahead one third the game will think I said something else (not just cut engines). The game gives back a different response every time I say a command

Dont know about voice commands, I gave up on trying to get mine to work.

train your speech profile and make sure the input is set to your audio cards wave device, plnety of help on these topics in the pinned checklist and other posts in this forum
