Since the forum was tucked away under " The Raid On Scapa Flow " , did anybody notice there was a sudden drop in any postings ?

.

It is my belief that relegating it to such an obscure title meant many thought it had gone .

I also believe all new players would have little idea of what " The Raid On Scapa Flow " means at all ( As it doesn't even appear until you complete the missions - for one thing !

.

I also believe many new would simply not know there even was / is a forum here , or saw various other empty forums about what will be next year , and doesn't even exist yet !

I therefore strongly motion that the title be scrapped as a heading for the forum , and that it revert to simply " Enigma Rising Tide " or such , as it was .

.

Who , when coming to this site , or discovering it , would think of looking under " The Raid On Scapa Flow" ? No-one .

After looking at a few others and finding them virtually empty or nothing recent whatsoever , they'd probably leave .

A daft idea to rename it this I think !

I dont think the "drop of posts" as you call it has anything to do with the new forum layout, posting goes up and down from time to time, it has always been doing that.

I think the main reason is that new members comes to check on MP availability, sticks out for a while then finds a new game.

If you look at the subtitle it clearly states "Enigma: Rising Tide, Chapter 1"

The empty forum was debated to be visible or not, most people that I talked with said "visible", hence the reason i didnt hide it :)

[edit]You know its only us "hardccore fanatics" that sticks around :) [/edit]

Indeed, there still is a high intrest in the game. I have accutaly added and talked to several members of the forums.

They tend to check out the forums for updates now and again, but do not comment on posts as often. Mainly because they want to know when the game will be released before they get there hopes up.

Jesper is right however, the ones who are more forward with there ideas tend to be the main posters. Which is fine, as long as people know this project has not died yet, and ideas are still being tossed around to make sure the final product is the best it can be.

Then people will keep checking the forums.

How would newbies be familiar with the two titles ' The Raid On Scapa Flow ' and " Sink The Hood ' ?

( It rarely sinks ) .

Scapa flow they won't know until they complete a campaign .

Better to have the subtitle ' The Raid on Scapa Flow ' , and clear would have been to have title " Rising Tide " simply , without even " Chapter 1 " as some would not know what that means .
