We're in the midst of refactoring the Enigma core engine...possibly causing more delays...but here is a peek at what results we are getting with the new rendering engine setup: This is in-engine.

This is being done without dot3Bump maps...all standard texturing plus a bump map and an environment map (cube map). We can do all of this live now.

Well, as long as you guys are making changes, can we get the nice wood paneling on the Raiko again? Just kidding!

Looks really neat! As far as delays, you know we'll wait. ;) Open a paypal account asking for random donations, I'm sure you'll get some if the final product looks anything like that!

Three cheers! enigma!: enigma!: enigma!:

We are working on a ship now. They take quite a bit longer. The aircraft was done as part of evaluating the renderers capabilities.

Does this rendering engine have a name? Who made it? Enigma in house programmers? Are there any websites with other samples of what it can do?

Here are some examples of the same aircraft with additional details and paint jobs:

All camo, custom paint (yellow bits here), nose art, tail art are player configurable

Standard Grey Camo

We are licensing 3rd party technologies as before and integrating them into our engine core.
