All, Just curious of your thoughts....

having completed the U-boat and RNE campaigns, I am currently working on beating the US campaign...(sub campaigns, that is...)

Im finding the US missions to be the hardest of the lot! Is this intentional? And do my fellow skippers agree with this assesment?

I think I recall they were equally easy, some of the KLMs were pains cause you'd were stuck with 1 aft tube having to kill more than a handful larger warships.

Before the missions were balanced the KLM Sub #4 was definatly the hardest mission TAG ever threw at me, close followed by RNE Sub #4 (or was that 5, I forgot. Havent played in a very long time).

Hmmm.

I played sub then surface of the LFN, the KLM and the USA in that order. I found that my attempts at the sub missions dropped off after "learning" in the LFN.

However, I would say that the surface missions were a lot harder for me (not being a surface guy to start with) but again, after "learning" in the LFN my attempts on the other two were signifactly reduced.

Still, I'm grimmacing for when my PC arrives (slow boats...must be IGN ) to attack them again. Not looking forward to the 60 second drill in the PT Boats.

I found the US subs quite hard, but the US surface missions were a breeze. By way of surface campaign, LFN is by far the hardest (im still stuck on the dreaded mission 6. >;( )

I think Im still the record holder among players to complete campaigns (unpatched EU/UK Retail, only beaten by Mr. East himself.

I did the entire KLM Sub Camp. in 14 attempts where East "claims" he did it in 13 (and I did all 3 Sub Camps. in less than 50 (forgot the exact).
