Tides of War

After 1.5 hours of playing this mission all that was left were Myself, the Kaiser, and the Milchow sub. The Milchow finally surfaced and neither my ship nor the Kaiser would fire a single shot towards it. We had plenty of distance (3000), plenty of ammo, and not once did I ever hit cease fire. Also my guns were checked. Whats up with that?

was it marked Yellow?

Yes, And it torped me.

Your crew won't fire at yellow subs, you have to do it.

Did you try saying engage target , after clicking on it , or defend deck guns , again, ? Sometmes this happens when I play a few missions , none in particular more than any other . Clicking on cease fire and then again to engage usually fixes this . Or at times when switching to external view the guns cease ,,but re-issuing commands usually does it .

In this German 10 B tho , the depth charges are restricted to a single pair or K guns , which I always assumed was just how it was programmed for this mission. that makes it harder to get the sub .

Third time is good going !

If you got the sub too that was really good .

Not necessary to get the sub to complete mission , but satisfying to succeed at that also .

Surviving the first minutes is the main task !

I used to assign protection to Kaiser , but found it was either " fated " to be sunk or not - maybe a " roll of the dice " it has each time !

The Kaiser was fine and I won the mission when I completely ignored it sometimes !
