Phantom Voice Commands...

Now that it seems the majority of my voice control bugs are worked out, (with the exception of the american boats, which still repeat certain commands over and over to the point of nausea)....Im still missing 2 key elements. My "Dive, dive, dive" command never works on any submarine, and doesnt get a response at all. ive tried changing the way ive said it, etc, nothing works. Same goes for "cut engines"....same deal. nothing.

any thoughts?

If i say it any slower, its going to be too late! I got into the habiot opf just reaching up and clicking anywhere below 50 on my depth meter for emergency dives....of course, thats only ok from periscope depth. From the surface, it just takes too long...

"cut engines" is the one i need. How can you do it manually if the voice command just wont work?

I dont think there is a key press for "cut engines" try F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 in game to check.

PRESSING " Y " WILL CUT THE ENGINES ,,,

( As ALL GOOD SUBMARINERS know ! LOL )

and pressing again will start them .

Clicking on RED BUTTON will initiate emergeny dive .

(A key for the dive too would have been useful .)

Also .. If you do want to just reduce or increase depth , instead of clicking in meter with mouse ,,, Use keystrokes E to rise ( It will bring you 5 or 6 m nearer the surface each click or if you hold it , rising will continue .

To go deeper , use C key .

Remember the D key in between will hold course straight if you hit that instead!

.... By the way did you try any of the voice training ? ( For the program - not you ! ) Go to START ---CONTROL PANEL.... then ,,SPEECH ( IN classic view ) or SOUNDS & SPEECH in category ,,mode ..

Then have fun with " TRAIN PROFILE " .If you haven't used this - it could be the answer .
