Hi guys, I'm new here, and i have some questions about unlocking the hood patrols.

I recently beat the LFN sub campaign in the original (non-gold edtn.) game. I checked in the patrols menu and I don't see any hms hood patrols! Do i need to beat LFN surface as well? Can i even unlock hood without the gold edition patch?

You need to be sure you completed either the LFN or IGN campaign , doesnt matter if you only did sub or surface.. the USA does not unlock any battleships...

After that you need to look in the TACTICAL patrols, the training and combat patrols dont allow you to operate battleships...

Then you need to make sure you have selected the IGN or LFN category for the ship you want to operate and scroll down to see your choice of battleship.

I looked in the patrol menu, selected the LFN flag button, and scrolled down to the patrols with the prefix: ON PATROL-(ship type). Do I select one of these? Because I tried selecting each of them and after I select the patrol (before clicking accept mission) and I can't see any place to scroll down to get to a battleship!

Maybe i'm just being stupid?

If you follow the above directions more closely.. you will see the "TACTICAL" section...

That is definetely NOT what my menu looks like. My menu doesn't have a sub-menu for tactical, combat, etc. and the different missions are listed with the name of the ship next to them. It must be because I don't have any patches. Do you have the gold edition patch or something?

I have the USA Gold Edition on one computer, and also a regular USA edition with USA GOLD patch on another pc.. both look the same to me. It must be that yours is one of the other versions, or without the gold patch.

Pre Gold ... Also has the Tactical missions .

I have them, and not Gold .

Probably you need at least the patches before that .
