Reinstall Problem

I am trying to reinstall Enigma. I uninstalled the old version and initiated a reinstall. I was told the program was already installed, did I want to overwrite? I responded yes. The reinstall commenced but locked at 42% (loading help files).

I have since tried the Starforce removal tool, rebooted, removed all files and folders with the name 'enigma' and tried to reinstall. The install still hangs at 42%

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

search the registry file for "enigma" and delete any and all references, then reboot, then try install.

Thanks -- I tried that and did not receive the message telling me I had already installed. But the install still halts at 42% -- it did crash once and flashed a message that disappeared quickly -- something along the lines of 'error in date move process'.....
