Being an alternate history buff I find this game really intriguing' date=' but only six events are posted! How much longer do i have to wait to know more? [b']20 years are still a mystery . . .
Others interested in alternate history should look up Harry Turtledove, his works range from pure fantasy based in history to pure alternate history. I highly recommend his books and those he has worked on with others.

I can feel a hardcore gaming addiction coming on . . .

We've been pretty short handed for the last 9 months and the backstory pieces have gotten the short shrift.  Rest assured' date=' we have a whole new batch underway that explain some of what you will experience in the Singleplayer.

We are preparing to unveil a new "history" feature in the next 2 weeks - should help spark up the alternate history.  Several backstory articles are in the works and we hope to post in the next couple weeks as well.

what's the plan for the next backstory events now?

One of the jobs of an alternative history is it is translucent.
IE:  flowing and see through.

Example:  we know the jump off point' date='  and we have a vague outline of events with the King,  the state of the European nation,  whilst still having massive holes such as what's happened to (wrong name but I use this to refer to the area geographically) the U.S.S.R.

Elsewhere on this board you will find a link to the History of the Assassins.  Whilst I've no link with East and the crew,  fabricating    a historical background was easy - making enough links was difficult.  The Assassins history has all future links to media releases and possible engagements;  something like that takes time.

Tesseraction may in fact have to write a novel of the complete History of the Enigma world PRE multi-player release.
