Have just been sunk by a 50cal round. Fine, except that I was 30 metres deep.
Some of the missions are difficult enough without this rubbish.

I'm not sure I understand this.
I've been shot before by the AI as I was diving, and it did enough damage to sink me at 40m submerged. A case of the straw that broke the camels back.

How long were you down at 30meters before the shot that killed you was fired? More than 5 minutes? Or were you in the process of a dive, where the aft end of your sub was not as low as the bow?
