I'm having a problem which seemed to start yesterday on the German sub mission #7. I'll just be getting close to my targets at periscope depth when all of a sudden I hear achtung achtung crash dive. Got this once when no orders were being given and another time when I gave the order to move "ahead two thirds". In the box along the bottom it said "your orders led to the destruction of the vessel at an unsafe depth" or something to that effect. I was still at periscope depth.

The time before this I was at depth of 187 and couldn't get my depth to change again. I even tried the emergency surface to no avail. Tried rebooting to no avail either.

Yesterday I was hearing the "achtung achtung crash dive" message several times but I was able to re-set my depth and it was just an annoyance. Today it's not allowing me to re-set my depth.

I'm using the head set with my door closed so their is no outside noise interfering with my commands. Thinking I may need to uninstall and reload but I hate to since I've almost completed the German surface missions and was on a roll to get my battle ship.

Any advice guy's? Image

Train you speech profile, even if you did allready run 2 new sessions.

Adjust the accuracy and that other slider i forgot the name off till you dont accidently crash dives.

FYI clicking on the "blue" or "red" bell icons on the hud immediatly starts/stops dive/surface :)

Save your mission and when you reinstall just put them back in to the same folder.

First Jesper, I don't think it's the speech recognition being a problem cause sometimes nothing was being said when the crash dive order was sounded. Something is screwed up cause the one time I used the emergancy surface (Blue bell) I still did not surface even though it sounded as though it normally does. My depth stayed at 187. I think something got corrupted. I will do two more voice trainings just for good measure though.

Shigoto, how do I do that? Just save the missions folder into another location then copy it over into the game after re-installing?

Btw, played the surface mission 10A and everything seemed OK. Must just be in the subs mission.

Well what ever the cause, It's working now. I just completed #7. Took a lot of tries but finally got it. Didn't have any destroyer headaches to worry about on the last mission.

Question, do the missions get easier if your like on your 20th shot? Not sure why I didn't have as difficult a time on the last try.

Stayed on surface and headed in the direction they were heading till I got one of the merchants sunk with the 4" gun then went below surface and let the others come to papa. :D

Sometimes other sounds can trigger the voice command, when you aren't actively issuing orders - press the 'V' key to toggle the voice command on and off.

Yeah, was probably the wife yelling for me to get off and I couldn't hear her cause of the earphones. Darn headphones.
