Help, Out Of Gas!

How do you refuel your ship? I ran out of gas trying to sink my first sub. I clicked on resupply and mayday. Got a friendly to come but he just sat there until I was nailed by torpedo's and watched me sink.

Why is my destroyer given the lucky number of 13?

I figure one of these times I gotta get lucky and nail the sub. I'm going to have at it till I do.

FYI - Tomorrow (Sunday August 29th) I'm going to a 80th birthday party for a guy who was on the USS Ommaney Bay as it was sunk by a kamikazi on Jan. 4th 1945. A destroyer picked him out of the water and then he transferred to the USS West Virginia.

He was once asked to guard a Jap pilot they picked up out of the water while the MP went to the head. The pilot walked up to him and spit in his face while behind bars.

His brother was killed at Normandy.

to refuel you need to get alongside the tanker or oiler realy close like 2" away then stop it should then say "Docking" if your out of juice then you need to get the resuppely vessle to come along side you. it's best to watch your fuel and when it gets low then go and get refueled.

Unless you can get him to move really close to you.

You can try that by clicking on resupply and then zoom all the way in on the tactical and then mark the resupply point just next to your vessel.

Note this is risky, the ally tanker may ram you. its best to do as Jammy says, refuel before you run out, so that it is you that has to steer close to the tanker and not visa versa...

I've never had to do that. The battle is decided one way or the other LONG before I run out of fuel!
