Problem With German Surface Fleet Mission

I think this may have mentioned before - but I'm not sure if any solutions have been found..
I think the mission is either 10a, 10b. Its the one where you are escorting Prince Wilhelm ?
Anyway - the longest I have lasted is 4 minutes before the game says mission failed.
I have tried numerous tactics - Including ramming (this was a last resort and dare I say it - I used a trainer so it didn't die. I only used this to try to figure out what was going on without worrying about my hull).
I guess I am supposed to protect the BB but the game says mission failed even before I get into position to be of any help.
Is there a tactical solution to this - or is it the actual mission which is at fault.

It's borked! There will be a patch out soon to fix it check this thread
Just a quick update, we are finalizing and testing the patch right now. We'll be posting a feature set/fixes when we release it. The release is planned this weekend.
