I have a 56k, and I'm starting to wonder if I'll be able to play enigma online. I have a killer computer with an awesome video card, but my internet...well it just plain sucks. I can't get broadband out here, so I don't really have much of a choice. Anyway, will Enigma be broadband only, like so many new multiplayer games? I don't want to connect to a game and lag, then watch my screen glitch a few times and watch my ship sink without giving a single cammand.

If you play your cards right online me old son, you will find that you have an advantage over the BroadBand people =)

I will let you figure out how that works but remember the more lag you have the more advantage you have.

thats if you play the way you need to 8)

Ok lets start with a sub.

1. Your at depth, and change it rapidly, your spot your target and because you have been a good captain and know your lagging but 500ms you lead off some extra 500 meters to give the spread o torps a chance to hit.

2. you dive and evade, now knowing that the ship above is on a faster connection, you know that hes in the right spot, altho to him your at 60 meters heading due south..... but in reality you have changed direction and are at 80 meters heading South West.

Its all about leading the target when you lag, and knowing where not to be when the other guys looking for you. :)

and remember Jack , should you get broadband , and lack lag , you can still play the same tricks if you plug in a mobile micro relativity condenser . ok.

oh, sorry , you don't have those in your 1937 timeline .
