new to game beat first 7 missions and cant get any where in mission 8 singleplayer mode

Hi,
it has been awhile since I played that mission, maybe you can refreash my memory? what are the mission orders? and what enemies do you encounter?

Thanks for the help I beat it just like Top Gun I sunk the first DD then dove and put on the brakes and let the second DD pass over me came up firin' :roll: 4 torps BANG down she went!!!
Yes , all missions really are possible to WIN .
Altho' I found that LFN sub 9 ( against the four KLM destroyers) was very , very mush easier to WIN in the Dreamcatcher version - than using that (almost unmentionable )GMX disc version !
In contrast , LFN mission 6 ( three subs against eight warships ) - I have been BEAT at every time in the USA Dreamcatcher disc version ! So I swapped files to play all the rest - however I will persist until I WIN that mission to.
I wonder if anyone else has used different versions and found differences ?
A few missions whichever disc you use , are hard , and those missions have long threads here .
It is possible to win all by sheer persistence , and far more satisfying to do so the normal way , altho it can be disheartening to get BEAT and stuck a number of times at one .
That's the game really , it would be less fun if it was less challenging .
Sometimes selecting the " Easy " mode is more difficult than the " Difficult mode " , as threads here explain , and advisable to play " Difficult" mode in any case , as the Multiplayer will be more like that .
