Tides of War

Hi Guys,
I downloaded the demo and have been eagerly awaiting the retail game here in the U.S.  I was informed yesterday by E.B. however, that the game had been scratched.  Does this mean that there will be no release here in the U.S. at all and if so can I order the game on-line or is the game not available to me since I'm in the U.S.?  Please excuse my ignorance on the subject at hand but I know very little about this title other than the demo is great and I sure would like to have the game.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It will be available in the U.S.,there was just a slight delay.

The USA release is still on track for June.  We had a little delay while we changed horses.  Watch for a press release late this coming week.

Well East, boy am i happy to see that in writing. I've already got my copy but this game can't die not only has it given  an extremely starved sector of the gaming community something to play but its actually bloody good to boot. Only wish there was more we could do.
By the way, i well enjoyed the E3 interview (just downloaded it). I'm not sure whether to pity you poor overworked souls or just be plain jealous of what you've achieved so far. Did you really say five people made this game? Sound quality was a little iffy and my brain refuses to believe my ears.

Thanks for the kind words and support.  As many as 20 people worked on the game since October 2001.  From the "Gigex" version to the retail version it was done with 5.  Including the complete remodelling of 90% of our ships and aircraft.
It's unfortunate the way the U.S. transition has gone, lots of confusion at EB, Gamestop, etc.  We'll have to work extra hard to overcome that, but, that was a risk inherent in deciding to ash can the contract.
