Hi everyone' date=' i've just ordered Enigma Rising Tide after playing the demo off of the latest PCZone UK.
I was pretty dumbstruck -it's [i']good eh?,  i'm usualy a major flight simulation fan and have also just bought SHII -my previous ventures into subs was on the MegaDrive around 1990 (think it was 688 Attack Sub)

Anyway, bear with me a few questions to you good folks if you don't mind.

1)Is there speech in the full version of Enigma (like crew calling out etc)

2)I've read there is going to be an MP version of ERT ?

Does this mean there will be:

A)a FREE MP addon patch for SP users?

B)Or we will have to buy a full MP product?(if so when is the MP version out and **will SP buyers get a discount in the UK**  8)

3)Also i have read about free three monthly downloadable upgrades for ERT? Will this be for SP or MP versions and will it consist of things like planes,boats or SP/MP missions?

4)Is there plans for a SP mission editor or the ability to skin your own vehicles?

5)How many missions does ERT have in total? -i've read figures like 60-70 missions.

1: There is no crew voices in the game

2: Yes there will be a MP of E:RT around Xmas2003 and yes the MPclient will be free of charge.

3: Yes there will be frequent updates to both ships|planes|missions' date=' and more.

4: There isnt any skin editor for SP, but there will most likely be one for MP

5: In total I think there is around 100 missions.

Tracer' date=' have you gotten the patches for SHII? There is a patch to make SHII MP from UbiSoft and there is another patch made by players of the game (with the source code from the original developers and blessings given by Ubi for it's use which is a wonder as Ubi holds source code close to it's chest) from SubSim.com. The patch from Ubi and the Projekt Messerwetzer Silent Hunter II/Destroyer Command DirectPlay Conversion and Multiplayer Upgrade can be found at SubSim.com.
There are some of us at GR.net who are also into flight sims and there is another who has SHII also.

And Projekt Messerwetzer looks like a real nice job btw.  The SHII community appears to be alive and growing.

Torpedo wakes? Fireballs? I am gonna have to check for them.
When ever IL:2 Forgotten Battles gets here from Scotland' date=' myself and Yoda at GR.net will be posting a player review on the News page (a stipulation from Ubi in return for the game.) If ya like we would welcome more to join us in coop dogfights (custom missions that Yoda makes.)
