I describe my system already in the "german patch issue" threat, but here again:

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2400+

Mainboard: Elitegroup KT33F ANB

Soundchip: Realtek AC97 Audio, Version A3.59

RAM: 1024 MB DDR RAM

HD: 4 HD's, 120GB

TSR: Windows XP & Components, Norton Antivirus (during the game deactivated) (screenshots will follow)

Graphic System: Nvidia GeForce 4 TI 4200 64MB RAM, driver: 5.6.7.2

TSR: what does TSR mean? Do you mean this?:

TSR is the abbreviation for Terminate-and-stay-resident, programs that remain in memory until it's needed to perform some function.

Auf gut deutsch: Speicherresidente Programme wie z.B. Virenscanner, die im Hintergrund laufen. Wenn man Alt+Ctrl+Entf dr?ckt, geht der Taskmanager auf und man bekommt die TSR - Programme angezeigt. Man kann bei weitem nicht alle abschalten (viele sind Systemprozesse), aber einen Virenscanner und eine Firewall schon (solange du nicht online spielst nat?rlich).

However Im sure that there must be a bug in the Patch (I tend to say "thats what you get for pushing on", perhaps not YOU but a lot has been complaing over a free patch for a very long time, so TAG might have rushed it out the door too fast, we are still waiting for East's comment on this).

yeah don?t try to hurry East . He?s got the longer lever. Obviously the

file "test.epk" in the patch indicate thats a beta version.

But there is something in common wich all boards have: The VIA Chipset.

In some games e.g. shooters it caused trouble.

I?ll try the game tomorrow at an another machine. Its got an nForce Chipset.

Lets wait for East at least.

Actually its a common mistake that they forget to rename test.epk

I cant think it should be the VIA chip as it is prolly the most used chipset.

I have an Intel 865PE chispet, so this time VIA isn't the problem...

I also have a Win 98 system.

But I doesn't install the Patch until now.

Maybe it works better on Win 98 ??

my System for games:

AMD 3000XP, 1GB RAM, ATI 9800XT, nVidia Geforce2 Chipset, Soundblaster Audigy Platinum, 400W powersupply

No Overclocking and some extra fans for cooling.

No problems with the system, also with video editing and photoshop etc.
