Hi everyone,

I have the german Version of Enigma, 2.0.7 GMX Media release.

Now I loaded your Patch 207A. The setup works great and the game is loading.

BUT: If iam in the game i hear only the music, i can't hear the Sounds of the Ocean, the Crew, the Boat etc... (My settings are correct in the menu)

And if I hit a ship with a Torpedo, the game crashes and iam on the Desktop...

I reinstalled Enigma and updatet it again... but still the same error.

Please help me, did I load the wrong patch? Or is there an error in your Update?

Which videocard do you have and what is the driver version?

Which soundcard do you have and what is the driver version?

Which version of DirectX are you using?

Enigma Version + Patches (Demo\Retail\Pirated): [?] GMX Media Version 2.0.7, updatet with the Retail-Patch 207A

Same problems here - no sound in game, music only, Crash to Desktop

More about Sound: I get sound FX while selecting a mission for the first time, no Sound FX in Game and no sound FX in the menu AFTER a mission. Sound FX are back after restart, but so is the error.

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1700+

RAM Amount: 512 MB

VideoCard + Driver Version: GeForce 4 Ti 4200 (two drivers tested: 45.24, 56.72), no AA, no AF

SoundCard + Driver Version: Creative Audigy Player, Drivers: 5.12.5.441

Windows Version: Windows XP SP1

DirectX Version: 9.0b

Everything else in Checklist has been done (if necessary), problem stayed.

Reducing Sound acceleration didn't solve the problem.

Crashes to desktop occured on torpedo hits and when switching to guns.

Beside that everything works well, and it looks gorgeous!

Changed video driver to Forceware/Detonator 53.03 (following East's advice from the tech support board). Still no sound except music, and still random crashes to desktop.

ive tried the German patch, too. Same problem as above postet.

- no sound

-as you sunk a ship or shoot down a plane immediately crash to desktop

Enigma Version 2.07

This is what i did to solve the prob

1. Enigma Patched ----> Prob occured

2. Enigma deleted new install in a different directory and HD----> nothing.

3. Sound Card updated with hardware accl. and without -------> nothing.

4. Newest Driver are applied-------------> nothing.

no TSR programs are running during the tests except the windows ones.

My system

AMD Athlon XP 1700+

Epox 8K3A+

2x256MB Infineon RAM

Creative GeForce FX5700 Ultra

Sound AC97 onBoard Card

Windows XP SP1

Razor? did you get it fixed or is there a:

yes the problem is still there. I think the update is buggy.
