I-15c Issues

ok, I've already come to the conclusion that this boat handles more like a cruiser with ballast tanks than any submarine, and that's my first complaint, but...

I can't see my fish running !!! What good are 6 forward tubes if i can't see the course their taking (especially against DDs, DEs, which take forever to line up in that pig!!!).

Can I not see my fish because the scope is so tall, do I need to go lower than standard periscope depth, what?

Does anyone else have this problem, or am I crazy?

(BTW, does anyone know if this boat is modeled after the airplane-carrying Japanese WWII subs, like the infamous I-8??)

Thanks :)

Interesting point.

I can see my torps from this boat faintly, but nowhere near as clearly as before patch 2.1.8c (I have the Aussie setup)

But I'm happy East, if this was the trade-off for getting rid of the "white ship" problem we had with the "B" patch.

yeah, i think i fixed my issue. I set my torps to max speed, depth zero, and put my boat at about 3-4 meters down, and they show up a lot more quickly now. This boat is starting to grow on me, I just need to practice with it.

BTW, i've only had the game for two days now, but I love it!!! It truly is the perfect balance between sim and arcade. It is without doubt the best game I've ever played. Three cheers fro E:RT-- enigma!: enigma!: enigma!:

When multiplayer comes online, I plan to be there to sink a lot of subs ('vettes and DE's, rock on!!). (learning the 15 is learning my enemy) :)
