I recommend Miranda IM over JAJC - http://www.miranda-im.org

Under Main Menu->Options->Network->Jabber enter your username & password. Login server is tidesofwar.net (no www prefix). Set user directory to users.tidesofwar.net.

I strongly reccommend you use SSL, in which case you need to download the OpenSSL dlls to the Miranda install directory - grab 'em here - and check the use SSL option (port 5223).

At anytime I prefers JAJC over Miranda, its a matter of opinion.

You dont need to grab the OpenSSL dll files to use SSL, they are built'in.

On the menu bar overhead this forum .. is "ToW Comms".. click that and it will lead you to jabber instructions etc..

Heya Admin, I did do that, but when I get to THIS page http://www.tidesofwar.net/jabber/ I get a bog image not found, and no link that I can see to the JAJC client. That's why I posted this
