Naval Tactics

Who programmed the Naval Tactics for this game? Ronald McDonald! In the Patrol Series section of the game, you start out by yourself and you rarely get any help from other ships. This is totally Assenine!! You end up fighting all by yourself. This is bullsh*t! plain and simple Bullsh*t!! Did the programmers of this game speak to real Naval Taticians? I think not....Nowhere in U.S. Naval history has a ship entered battle alone.. I believe the programmers of this game had their head up something, instead of thinking with them. If any of these people knew what "crossing the T" means in Naval Tactics I will be surprised.... Great game but without direction....Could be better......Maybe a patch so you can choose how many and what kind of ships fight alongside of you in the Patrol Series.

Check out the Tips and Tactics segment. Also, you didn't say whether you were having probs with Sub or Surface. I went through the Sub campaigns and patrols okay, but found the Surface stuff much more challenging...some of them downright "orrible
Stick with it...it really gets easier...and with or against Subs, be patient

Unless it was on a solitary ... patrol. Some subs went on 60 days solitary ones, so? The 'battles' are called campaigns btw. Depending on the campaign, there is support. Cross your T's there, and use that combined fire...

Well I have had quite good success *coughs* for me that is.
I havent had too much trouble with any mission cept say LFN 6 Grrrrr
There are some very helpful threads on the boards on how to get through these missions m8 without pulling ya hair out
This is a great game and bl**dy good fun to play and I can not wait for the online patch!

The missions were easy...either sub or surface...What I'm eluding too is the patrol series in surface combat. Now, I just downloaded the 2.6.2 patch and everything has changed in the Patrol series. The look of the game and everything. I have to figure out how to work the depth charges all over again. this ought to be interresting.

No Patches . me, and the game is still good !
