Tides of War

just received my free copy of Enigma (I LOVE this game' date=' thanks!) as i bought the beta version last year.Just a silly question for anyone who knows about the upcoming multi-player game (right now I am deeply involved in the 7th Flotilla playing Silent Hunter II and Destroyer command in the Wolfpack League).

So... Here it is...

I live in Quebec, Canada. And for role-playing purposes I want to play in your multi-player game a character actually living in Canada in 1937 in your alternative history universe (I intend to write an story, published on the internet, about my battles in the online game, like I am doing right now with Silent Hunter II).

In the Enigma alternative universe, what is the status of Canada??? Is it part of the United States of America (most probable IMHO)? Or of the League of Free Nations? And if it is part of the USA, was it a voluntary adherence, or was the country forcefully conquered/annexed bt the USA?

And what about the French? Are they fighting on the side of Imperial Germany ?

This is important for me, as it will be the deciding factor for my choice of the side I choose to play.

canada being anexed by the usa' date=' hehehehe  no chance. canada as you prolly know has a large number of us scot's there.  it would be like england trying to anex scotland. never. te canadian's would declare themself's neutral before allowing that.  just my opinion.[/quote']
