I quite like the rough riding sea (at dusk/dawn) ... just wondered about everyone else.

Absolutely *impossible* to fire the guns manualy in those seas Maybe us 'humans' should have a stabiliser patch request put in? In MP we'll hit **ZERO** unless it's alongside..

i too like the violently rough seas. its just such a thrill trying to navigate while getting tossed around like that. watching the bow of my ship disappear into the wave then shoot out into the air.<e>

Depends what I am playing. 
 
Sub) Dont care really care although watching my torpedoes launch out of a wave, drop and then plunge in to the next one is quite impressive. 
 
 
 
MTB) As choppy as possible. It makes you near impossible to hit on your approach while your torpedoes arent particularly affected. 
 
 
 
CV) Pancake flat, great for pivot turns and seeing torpedo trails. 
 
 
 
DE & DD) Mild roll just from aesthetic purposes.<e>

I like it nasty when in a sub even though my sail probably broaches too much. When in a ship I like enough waves to make it interesting and realistic, but hate really rough seas as the binocs are useless then (not to mention the guns!)<e>

I always hated it stormy but i saw my corvette actually leave the water the other day coming over (well through) a bigass wave. LOVE IT!!!!

best screenshot award goes to jesper for that one. thats the very reason i like the stormy seas. to tell you guys the truth im really horrible at the game. im still messing around with the first 5 or so campaign missions. i plan to get in on the multiplayer action though despite my lack of skill. so the ability to shoot straight, or manouver properly is fairly low on my priorities list, with this game its all about making a sweet cinematic experience while i play.<e>

Favourite sea state? Has to be full of fat and sassy tankers every time. The busier the better. I love ploughing into or skirting the chaos of a pitched sea battle where no one knows who they are shooting at and are expending all their ordnance on folk other than my wee U-boat. Other than that, the nastier the better. It's all the same at 100 metres... Unless the ash cans are raining down.<e>
