i know. why dont TAG get some sort of agreement where TAG and the maker of IL2(Ubisoft) combine the games. a sort of IL2 type add on for the enigma timeline. the ships on IL2 werent all that impressive anyways and now the game will get at least half decent ships and planes if they combine. of course the planes will be relevent to the enigma timeline.

Actually I would love to do a game with the IL2 guys, but they have already done the planes for SH3, they are working with Akella on "Knights of the Sea" and likely on their next game...

Even if the IL2 guys wont there is always microsoft the creaters of Flight simulator and Combat Flight Simulator. they probably have decent planes and plenty of downloadable content. talking of downloadable content why doesnt enigma haveany downloadable ships, plane, scenery etc? it would make the game more popular. just look at the command & conquer games which you can download stuff for. and Bridge Commander and Armada 2, they have tons and tons of downloadable content and they arent all that good on its own. but then you add all this content and you have a game 3 times or more better.

[thread hijack] M$'$ CFS3 was a complete flop, IMHO. Worst $50 I ever spent. CFS1 & 2, & FS9 now I still play those. Never got IL2... don't have the time to play all the games I have now, lol[/thread hijack]

SH3 is a failure because there is no surface mode. (Destroyer command)

If you visit enough boards you will see people who do want a good sub/surface/air ww2 wargame. Enigma could satisfy that need.

As mentioned it should be a buyable expansion title (again like DC and SH2.) And if done it should have joystick support.

It's a great idea and IF possible I would highly recommend it.
