If you play XP you have seniority in MP.

If you change to a different computer, you just have to sync up - your player files (at least as far as you have checked them in) are universal.

Well, I love the game, but I cannot afford these plans. I guess I will just play what is on my cd. I broke my back in the navy several years ago, and it's coming back to haunt me. I'm not working right now, and haven't gotten a check for the past 12 weeks. Luckily, the VA Hospital takes care of me because of my service-connected disability.
I play several other very cool games online for free. I will not mention their names out of respect for East, and the others at Tesseraction who worked so hard to give us this great game. It is truly enjoyable.

Sorry to hear about your back. Just curious as to why your not getting a check though, since the Navy gives 100% disability for a broken back. Well they gave it to my brother anyway.

I didn't get near that. I will start getting a check in a few years. I took a lump sum payment upon discharge that would last for so many years, then the monthly checks would kick in. Still got about 2 years to go.

Bummer, well I don't know the details so maybe your better off than he was. My brother had to have surgery twice I believe. He was on DD992, the USS Fletcher, but it was changed from a gunboat to a missleboat so Im not sure if it changed its number or not. He was based out of Pearl, lucky ars, too bad he got hurt. He got caught between a rope and a post during docking process, not sure what all happens there but I do know he was filling in for a guy who did a different job than him. He normally worked as an electrician on the generators.

Hope you make ends meet in the mean time until your money starts flowing again. Take it easy, and maybe we will see you one day in MP :-)

So if I get a good ship in time and (engineroom?????) sinks it..hehe do i loose that ship class and have to start over from the begining...????

and do i start out in mutiplay with a tin can or do i have a choice of ships. enigma!:

One clarification there. This is an enhanced single player with competition, not multiplayer. Everyone is sent a special mission and you have to complete it and send the file back by a certain time. TAG then takes all the results and makes it "history". For example, if you were USN subs in the southwest Pacific, and your mission was to sink LFN oilers, and you get them all (and so do the others playing USN subs in the SoWesPac), the Hood task force may be forced to turn around and go back closer to home because they lost their refuelling ships. You would have affected the game for other people.

(Disclaimer: Not saying that is exactly what would happen, just making an example.)
