As with any competition also in Air Attack are many emotions (good and bad) involved. Nothing wrong with that.
The problem is: the rules aren?t perfect. If it is 2 squad, 4 squad, KTF or whatever event/ league, there are rules in place.
They said: ?keep ?em easy?, ?not too many? etc. pp. The problem is, there are still lots of flaws within the rules. So called ?grey areas?.
As I said in a previous post, tactics should be restricted to the playing ground (map), the skill of the pilots and the specs of the planes (and not f.e. the names of the players, written on the back of their jerseys). So should be the rules.
Add some rules regarding behaviours/ manners and off you go.
But the ?grey areas?offering space for new invented tactics. Good ones and unfortunately also bad ones. The rules have to be adjusted to these new invented tactics and this is why we are here, discussing.
As with every discussion there are already 2 main-opinions and some shades of them. In a democracy you always have the possibility to poll it out but I would like to discuss to an interim end.
The competitions are the ?heart?of our beloved game. It?s the competiton, where a ?newbee? gets hooked to the game or not.
The game formats are well but its rules are obviously not. A couple rules are left to interpretation and a couple are even missing, I think. I want to stuff these holes and who else could do it better but the fellow players, playing this game ?
Otherwise I?d would vote for separate leagues: one for profs (vets) and one for amateurs (newbees and fun-players).
The problem is, we haven?t enough players/ squads for such a split, so we need to make competitions and its rules fun for everyone and not only those, who?re having the skill.
Sometimes we have to subordinate our personal needs, for the favour of a bigger thing.
