Plenty of immersion above the waves Capt ;)

Actually I really like the lack of crew, they never look right, too animated, let the voices give immersion on that front...and I don't want to walk about to the different stations either, I think that just takes me away from my real purpose...but I don't like playing subs...I like chasing them, I don't have any time for records!!!! HeHe...happy sailing. :P

I played SH3, but gave it up until they allow multiplayer to be something "other" than a sub.. and until they fix the new bugs they introduced in the latest patch..

No jealousy on my part.. just looking for the most playable variety.. not necessarily eye candy.

It's looking like ERT will the first if not only to offer three nations to play as surface and sub in a multiplayer mode, and possibly long before the other companies catch on to the money-making idea apparently none have previously suceeded in doing..

I would have to say that with all the navy games in the past up til now not being able to accomplish what ERT is looking to do, puts TAG at the top of the mast.

Im willing to bet ERT is much more fun as a combat experience, no question. My point is just that being one of those sea nerds who gets a kick out of leaving and returning to port, cycling time from day to night, and real patrol conditions, SH3 offers these things. ERT is still going to be more exciting and more FUN! I have no doubt. Considering i went out and spent $1600 on a brand new top of the line sha-bang PC within weeks of buying ERT,...just to get every last drop out of it, There is no question where my aleigance lies 8-)

I own a copy of SH3. I've played it pretty extensively. I'm not jealous of anything but their development budget!
And likely their revenues.

I'm finding SH3 to be a great game. Missing is playing on the surface but I bet a sequel or expansion is in the works.

I'm on my first career patrol. Happy days!

And I'm going to try out MP soon once I feel confident enough.

Our revenues exceed SH3 revenues and it looks like Enigma will earn more lifetime. That said, there are a lot of mods and mod activity for SH3 so time could tell a different story.

Either way, I wish them well. A rising tide lifts all ships.
