Just a question... or two. will......
1 Land and a map of depths
2 weapons loadout option
3 multi player via IP/ LAN
be added to current version of the game or will there be ERT 2?

1: Land wont be there till MP.
2: Loadout is for SP2 / MP (maybe if there comes additional patches for SP1 they'll be added there)
3: Direct/IPX/VPN/TCP-IP LAN, last i heard was "no".

Yes we do, I still play computer games but there is more of a social element to Tabletop gaming like the drinking etc. We tend to use a laptop to generate the outcomes we just move the ships and select the targets, so there is very few dice roles involved in some of the games we play.

Yeah, oh boy ! The random dicey drinking element, man what a way to get unpredictability during a game.. like not knowing just exactly when your friend is going to puke all over the pieces or get obstinate and throw a fit, causing all parties to brawl over a little plastic piece on the board..
Im not that big into unpredictability.. anymore. lol

Yeah, that's how I remember them - used to do ancient warfare tabletop as a kid and it was all dice throws, rules and pen and paper for working out tactics. Now that I am a big kid I use Rome Total War, which is a great improvement IMHO. Would have to agree that the social side is something you miss though, a pity your group meet in London or I would come along and join in.

IMO it says a lot about the state of the game since people are talking about table top wargames
