Bug Klm Sub Mission 3

Did you read some of the previous posts in this thread?....Whats going on with this? I still can't get past this mission. I've sunk the enemy sub, and the american ship. I've tried just singking the american ship. I've teried just high tailing it south as soon as the mission started...nothing, i'ce sat at flank heading 180 for 1 hour and nothing happens.
