Hi,
You know this is starting to become kind of funny, I really miss these types of discussions. Keep them up Nitro !!
Gunslinger, I don't think cookies from this site or any other site is causing your error message on Team Speak. I would guess that you do not have the correct server address or log in name or password for the team speak server you are trying to connect to. Just my thoughts.
Take Care m8s,
Skydancer

Nah!!!!!!!!!! "Temper" you don't see & quote: "you entered a 6 instead of a 4!!!,
This is a typical answer I would expect from my granddaughter!, I hunt & pick when I type, I look directly at the key with one hand and 1 finger, not 2 hands with all 10 fingers going like a bat out of hell, so fast, not even Yeagar ( Test pilot who broke the sound barrier)(before momma and papa thought of you) could be so fast. Granite, it is a good observation and suggestion!
And now popgun before you jump the gun also, I know in order to make capitol letters, you have to either hit "Caps lock" key or hold down "Shift" Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I might be old, but I ain't
senile, I think not!, lol, by the way computer whiz kid (Temper) I had to ask my granddaughter what "lol" meant, she started laughing, I asked her again, and she said "that's it pappy, laughing out loud!
Would'nt you know it, out of the mouth of babes comes forth knowledge!, But this little girl un-knowingly helped me, so if she did that less than a few seconds, why can't you college grads with all those BS, BAs & what ever simplify "Help with TEAM SPEAK" in layman's terms, I downloaded the latest
version ( and I stayed away from that bogus patch), 2 things I found problems with, 1. after I downloaded & installed with desk short cut icon, I rebooted, That's right wiz kids, I rebooted for setting to be properly set, when I clicked on icon, a dialog box came up, saying server connect, but there was no name and or address, I hit connect, but got error page, telling me to enter server address, what do I enter and what name do I give it if any?????? all i have is a small gray box with Server, Connect, New, Add, Remove! That's like giving me a picture puzzle with some of the pieces missing, yet I'm suppose to see the picture! 2. I come on to USAAC and type in my nick user name and password, exactly as it's called for, and all I get is the same grey box, but a voice saying "error"
what the hell am I doing wrong or not doing at all????? Walk me through it or talk me through it, hell, I ain't never too old to learn, any one got time to email me with 100% complete and full instructions at my email:
jacusmc1968@gmail.com I feel like I'm in a fire fight in a hot LZ with no reinforcements and my ammo is running low, if any prior military vets out there, who are computer savvy, bring it on, I'll dance with ya, need all the help I can get. Thnx Guys for your consideration! Gunny/Semper FI

Skydancer;
Halleluya, that is probally it, I just a second ago posted for help, what should I type in for server
name and correct address, I've been typing in my own personal password, is there a specific pass code needed? and if so, then after one registers, you would think that imfo would have been provided to them, when they activated their account.
I appreciate your help and knowledge, Thanx Skydancer, when I see you in the FFA arena each against one another, I will shoot you down first, to show my appreciation! LOL best regards.Gunny/Semper FI Sky

Temper;
R U implying that I'm "hijacking this thread?" in answer to your question in pertaining
to wanting me to ask a little 10 year old (my youngest granddaughter) & "quote from you",
"ASK YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER WHAT DOES "THREAD HIJACK" mean? Answer: To change
the subject matter of a specific topic! And no I did not ask her, keep in mind, she is just a little
girl still in elementary school! Now I ask you, at what age in your life did you know what Thread
Hijacking was???????????? (28 or later?)
The topic is exactly what I have been discussing as Nitro and a few others, "Not a user friendly forum!" which to my understanding is: some or most users are having much difficulty, such as me trying to go to the right areas and being able to access without much delay and hinderance, and that it seems only a few understanding users will take the time to assist the new user, such as yourself, which is very much appreciated by any newbie!
But, It is very apparent that in order for a newbie to resolve their problems, they must persists
in pestering the long time users on here, either being a regular player or admin staff! I was pointing out entirely as nitro was, that the forum is not as easy as it seems to experienced computer users,
And I will give you the benefit that you are quick on the draw, when it comes to playing the game, and getting around from site to site on your computer, so if it is attention your seeking & glory, such as I'm a computer freak, you got it, I will admit, even in your subjective criteria & round-
about putting it simple and courteously, you have an arrogance to that tone, which very much implies to me, that you have an ego problem, in the Marines, we had a saying, Whats the matter, did'nt you get enough titty when you were a baby?
Now before you get bent all out of shape, Thank you very much for your help in Team Speak, by your delayed imfo, helped me in a matter of minutes!!!!!, Now Temper, one could also interpret,
'Not a user friendly forum in both ways, 1. the hardship & difficulty of using that particular site and the way it is set up to use. 2. All users should be extended as much courteous acceptance and any help another member could possibly give or share! So, if I Hijacked this thread, it was un-intentional
and unknowingly on my part, I just wanted some damn help is all, and I finally got it!!!!
In closing, Thank you again Temper for all your help and imfo! Now as for my 10 year old
granddaughter when she informed to me about "lol" and she gave me the answer, I was implying, if
this little one knew that, then you guys should be able to solve my problems with Team Speak, So
in the future, do not go there with my granddaughter, That is territory not even you could comprehend once you trespass on it, you can down grade the me & the Marine Corps all you want, and that is acceptable, but to down grade the mind of a little one, is not acceptable to me or to anyone for that matter. So hence forth, let's be a straight shooter and not a trick shooter and we will get along like mustard & ketchup! Also keep in mind, I've been in this old world much longer than you, seen alot of things that you could only dream of, did a lot of things that you have yet to do, and that's called, While I was fighting for my country, which gives me the right to freedom of speech, you were probably not even born yet, 1968 age 18 me & 6 brothers in different years and wars, Korea & Viet Nam, lost 3 brothers, 1 in Korea (KIA) & 2 in country nam (KIAs), How old were you? (that would have been 39 years ago) I should have your Nick, "Temper" cause some say, I'm still fighting that war!, and I'm similar to Nitro, easy to go off on ya! So just take this as mere constructive advice, it's
free, No one in this world is entitled to respect, "Only your parents & grandparents, all others have to earn it, even me! Sop you take care now ya heer, and I'm most appreciative for your imfo help! Gunny / SEMPER FI

Psy;
you might want to consider changing the logo image in your avatar, Many a good marine
lost their lives on Iwo Jima and for their honor, heroism & victory at the cost of their brethren's
lives and the spilling of their blood, earned their God Given Right to raise their flag they fought under
and for! and that my friend is the Flag of the United States of America, NOT THE UK OR GB!,
GUNNY / SEMPER FI ( just following procedure and protocol of AA's policy " no tag and or usage by a user that has an antagonistic and offense to it) As a Marine Combat Veteran & member of the VFW &
American Legion, I take personal offense to any meaning it implies, other than what the true meaning it will always stand for ' The Flag of the USA and to all those who gave freely & lost their lives so unselfishously with honor, gallantry and heroism!

Gunslinger, when I put a wink smilie at the end of a sentence, it means I am just kidding. No disrespect was meant to you or your grandaughter.
Every forum I have ever joined seemed difficult to navigate at first. After a period of adjustment, I got along just fine. Have you tried Firefox as I suggested?
I'm not attention seeking, looking for glory, or a computer freak, and this is the first time anyone has called me arrogant on any forum I frequent. I do lay on the sarcasm pretty thick at times.
Also keep in mind, I've been in this old world much longer than you, seen alot of things that you could only dream of, did a lot of things that you have yet to do, and that's called, While I was fighting for my country, which gives me the right to freedom of speech, you were probably not even born yet,
You have no idea how old I am, what I have seen or dreamed of, what I have done or will do. And you have the audacity to call
me arrogant. My time in the US Army was to give ALL Americans the right to free speech, not just me.
Anyways, we seem to have gotten off on the wrong foot. If I can be of any further assistance to you, please do not hesitate to ask, and welcome to Air Attack.

Thanks Sky Dancer, glad i was able to make you chuckle about my comments about the forum. Did Tullamore and GunSlinger make you chuckle too ? Tullamore a very highly respected Admin, and Gunslinger a fresh face to Air Attack. They both express their opinions about the forum too. Instead of chuckling , how about getting with the Board of Directors and fix the problems. As of now, the Board of Directors out numbers the none members that post on this forum. After 8 months of this site being up and running, that should set off some alarms.
thanks,
Nitro

Temp, we all know you're offensive but, as we keep telling you, a hot shower and plenty of soap should take care of it.
Psy that doctored version of the flag raising at Iwo Jima is in bad taste.
Gunny, get off your high horse. You're making a career out of acting the good ole straight shootin American boy. You're not alone in having fought for your country though not everyone feels a need to keep bringing it up..
Beware the loud ones
Who refight their escapades
In voices which leak cigars and beer.
Who take a high-decibel umbrage
At the slightest race of disbelief
And now that I've liberally insulted everyone I will sit back and await the entertaining responses..

I love these forum topics...you just never know where they are going to go next.
