Arooo yessum I s'pose I could see how smoke might work. Non-smokeless powder is always fun to watch in action... blinding crew members... giving away cords... tripping blind crew overboard... *smiles in memory*

Never heard of any eyeballs besides the one in me ed... have to do some research. Or you could just explain :oD . Sounds like something you can use to zoom in with. You could check something you couldn't see... depending on how badly you couldn't see it - if something blows up, you hit it. If not, try again. If there's debris everywhere, you hit it. If not, try again. If you lose a contact on your radar and there's no explosion or debris, say something that should be sensored.

lol the mark 1 eyeball is the one in your head:)

The other thing that made it difficult to target during the first world war was that you looked for the splashes or explosions but if more then one ship was firing then then Idenifying those which were yours was hard.
