Help!

Jesper...I think I have the problem localized to the sound card....I can play the game fine with NO sound...I will install the newest drivers and see what happens

Soundblaster cards are notorious for hogging the PCI bus. When I playe Dark Age of Camelot as a minstrel, and played the "speed song", the others in my group would out run ME, the song player, because my SB card made the game "hitch".

I had the error on install for ERT (and many other games) and it turned out to be bad RAM! I had finally gotten it installed by running the speed down to 4x using SpeedDrive.

So, try another sound card (I use the Fortissmo III 7.1, and love it) and check your RAM.

I got a SB Live too, never had any problems

make sure that you use the driver from www.creative.com and not from www.windows.update.com

Well if your not in a hurry send your PC to my home port and I'll see what I can do.... hehe: Strange because I got a SB live and a GF4 Ti4200 and never had any problem with Enigma. Well don't give up, Enigma is a real drug when you start to play it often!! enigma!:
