My answer was correct. You can win EITHER a submarine OR a surface campaign and be given control - we didn't want to make it TOO hard to get one.
As for the patch question....I'm not sure what you are asking there...

Question:
Why don't you allow the Americans a cruiser?
You could make a patch that included something like the Astoria class CA from WWII.

just look at the Warfleet.net numbers! 60% of players registered as USA! thats (Aproximately) 2840 players! crazy:
Compared to IGN and LFN (both have under 1000 players!)
I'm not sure how accurate those numbers are, but they seem pretty damning for the rest of the ERT world lol
USA doesn't need anything heavier than a DD for multi (the fletcher is the most bad ass DD anyway!) coz the numbers more than make up for it
But more on topic, BC's aren't that fun IMO, gimme a U-Boat anyday

When the original blueprint for the factiosn were made, given the "historical" data of the fabricated factions, each side was presented with benefits and defecits.
What you miss out on ths slippery dip, you pick up on the roundabout.
Remember too that Enigma was developed and produced long before the numbers of enlistment ever surfaced. Relying on those numbers in my opinion, doesn't support your arguement. To my thinking, it suggests that either more copies were sold in the USA (which is correct) or that more players want to play as the USA.
My $.02
