thats what i did... just rush the oilers as fast as you can and send them to the bottom.

evade DC attacks with with speed changes (from 1/3 to flank) dives and pivots. take advantage of the outside view, albiet unrealistic, but quite a helper. when im evading and and vieing for attack position, if i dive greater than 49m, i try to get it back up to firing depth as quick a possible(generally canceling my order and retuning to fireing depth). if you can get them into the 500m circling pattern trying to decide when to make their run on you, pivoting and rising to 20-30m will put them right in front of your tubes after a revolution or two.

Well, now I know why I never won this mission...

What works best for me is to go full bore right at the cvs, as he gets close launch a full spred out the bow and then flood the tanks for emergency dive, but don't flinch. If you didn't sink him stay flank speed and stop the dive at just over 10 mtr, just enough to get under his hull. As soon as he begins to clear you, blow the tanks and surface behind him(his cannon is on the bow). when they see you dive the allways set their charges deep and never near the surface because that close will damage them as well. Now that he is directly astern send a fish right up his tailpipe Come to periscope depth and target the oilers(or whatever) off the bow and any cvs that were with that one will have to come about and chase you . keep them busy with some shots out the stern, you can reload faster than they can close the gap between you.
