But But... I wanna play as a rogue sea captain, with no allegeance to any particular faction.

Maybe why I havent registered yet?

Maybe in future we could look at the possiblity of playing Rogue.

Example;

Start off with one of the three factions, once you obtain a certain rank, tonnage sunk. ya can then declare yourself any enemy of the factions and hunt them all.

Ships that you have at your disposal are captured vessels if possible.

Once land mass is added? then maybe a base that a Rogue could setup and keep captured vessels.

May be very hard though if these bases have the ablity to be attacked?

Or....

Add a 4th faction... with some/more ideas I mentioned.

What would be interesting to know is how many of the surface skippers are intending to battle it out with big guns and how many are going to be fishing with depth charges...

Also, will we see an unholy alliance of the KLM & the LFN to take on the superior numbers of the USN?
