Purchased Asus A7N8X Deluxe last month best MB I have ever owned it is a gem!
No real problems running the game just a little tweaking here and there.
NVidea GForce 4200TI AGP X8
WD 40GB 7200 hard drive
XP Pro SP 1
AOC LCD 17" monitor 1280X1024 32bit
AMD 2500+ Barton running at 2.2GB (this CPU will run up to 3GB with no problems)
768mb 333 2700 Kingston ram.
Everything in preferences to max.
SB Live on max accelleration.
The only crashes I have had relate to the bugs in the game as explained by East recently and there will be a fix soon?????????
I recently loaded the NVidea 5.16 drivers and found for some reason that my AGP 8X had switched off (not in the bios) slowing my frame rate considerably so it might be something worth checking out for those of you that might be experiencing graphic problems. Had to roll back and reload to solve the problem.

I had some graphics slowdown running on 256mb RAM but I made the leap and added an additional 512mb - runs a treat now

im running win 98 right now. do what the crowd is and get xp pro, its newer, has more support, and will be around a while. my win 98 is in the middle of its swan song. as much as i love( it has been a good stable os for most games) microsoft really wants to do away with it. as far as the rest goes, well, my machine is only as cool as my wife will let, so its not very.
