Hey all.

Well looks like we have a number of interested peeps and hopefully some guests who just couldn't be bothered to sign up to say... 'oh me please!' This thread is still active so as interests continues to grow (hopefully) please continue to post. I'm currently working backstage at a theatre for the christmas panto period (Panto is an extremely British thing) but anyone who's ever worked in theatre will know that it's marginally time consuming. Anyway I'm still around and there will be a taskforce since interest is obvioulsy out there. I will get a website eventually but give me some time. January and I'm home free! :)

I'll also be looking for a second in command and a number of senior commanders who will be able to give time to support me in administration duties etc. If this extra responsibility tickles your fancy then also shout out.

Here are a few preliminary idea about the Taskforce. (Btw I'm still trying to think of a name so ideas would be much appriciated.)

Depending on how TAG decide to make rank work withing the game the RN TF may or may not use the built in system. This is because a good Taskforce player may not be the best hunter/killer or sink the most ships. The Taskforce will use it's own ranks. These will be realistic which may end up being confusing but I'm sure we will find a way. notify: Player ranks will count within the TF and I intend to set up some sort of JAG and Marshall Court system to deal with issues regarding violations of military conduct protocol. hmmm:

The TF will also practice realistic tactics and train as a team in order to crush our enemies! bash: This realistic teamplay element will appeal to some and not others so I stress now. The TF will be aimed at serious players who want to play seriously and use real Royal Navy tactics of the time. Of course we will have fun but when it comes to combat situations, serious hats (good old white peaked caps) go on. This also brings me to another point. Anyone out there with naval tactics knowledge would be an asset to the TF and I appeal in advance for someone, be they historian, ex mariner or even currently in the navy, to lift up thier hand and offer their services to this TF. wave:

Anyway as I said before, anyone who wishes to throw some ideas into the pipeline please feel free to do so in this thread. And continue to show your support for the League of Free Nations, The British Crown and His Majesties Royal Navy in Exile. God bless the King.

I'll join as a corvette captain. I seem to be doing well sinking subs in single player.

Mr. McArthur,

Would you mind writing a Captains log for Atlantic Triple Play or one such mission? It could be a huge help for our...less adroit surface commanders.
