Squadron Meeting Soon?

Oh man I'm so bummed, I just checked with the Eurostar, Brussels Airlines and even frickin' P&O ferries... Everything is booked solid or horribly expensive.
Are you guys also going to the RAF museum? I'd love to see the Grahame-White factory again someday.
They even have this beautiful baby there:

No plans for going to the RAF museum but im sure we can plan something
Had a great day with Sparrow, Para and Felix. Spent most of our time in the small war in the air section of course! and a short time at the pub nearby
BTW How did the meet go?

It was a no-show. I waited and went off flying alone on Syndicate.
Makes me wonder about the future of IRFC a bit.
Maybe we should unite the remaining active ToW pilots of IRFC, 10NS and J2 under a single banner, without the Entente or Central subtext.
I've also been invited by Imp and Jorri for quite some time now to join Les Hellequins, which is a European-based squadron.
In all honesty I still prefer flying with you guys, but I'm missing a bit of a squadron feeling here. I understand that we all have personal lives to attend to, but I believe that a monthly meeting isn't asking for too much.
To add insult to injury, the ToW server is practically deserted (hopefully Squirrel can bring a change to that). Don't get me wrong, I love this squadron and flying with you guys is the most fun I've ever had in RoF, in spite of time zone differences and internet lag issues.
Anyway, I can always hope for 1.013 to restore faith in this sim. We'll finally have the opportunity to fly our skins online with mods off!
Oh and I'll probably come over to London in a month or so for a weekend with the wifey. I'll definitely be making a trip to the RAF museum.

I have not left the squad, or have no intention of doing so. I cannot get a steady connect to the German server that everyone plays on.My ISP has been having some routing issues. so even the ToW server has become flaky .I will keep dropping in to see what's up and hopefully play again in the near future .

Real Life will always make a squad stale from time to time, especially in summer! Or maybe it is just the ones I have been in who knows! As far as the game itself, in its current MP state it is a huge killer for any kind of squad cohesion. Games like WW2OL and others help with things like squad tags dubbed on your persona while flying, squad PM chat/channel etc etc.
Untill we can get more recognizable skins and settle ourselves on a server that pings well for many of us it will be very difficult to unify. Also alot of current maps in most servers are terrible at present (ie. maps with gigantic area when
the usual pop is 5 or so, not to mention most good sized maps are are just meat grinder death match's or giant tedious flag servers. I agree that new maps in TOW are essential for future success of this squad not just because we toot
TOW's horn but I think it is a great server that just needs some elbow grease and trimming.

I'm kind of the same way in the summer. They are short up here!
Having a stomach flu over the long weekend didn't help things either. Hope to be around some more.
