id also like to clarify that my understanding of reserve is that i may show up now and again as time permits, but the squad should expect that i wont and if i do its a bonus.. well its a bonus for me anyway lol

Gentlemen...
To just clarify why we have come to ask this question of everyone is quite simple really. We have some people who show up for weekly flight ops, be it official group training and Friday mission sorties while other members are absent. There is now a trend that indicates that people who miss training or official flight ops aren't posting their absense in advance so the rest of the chaps who do show up aren't caught wondering where everyone else is. If we continue with this current trend, morale will be affected with those who are making the time to show up weekly at their expense of time.
As the Training Officer, I'm tracking who is showing up to events versus who isn't as well as our weekly Friday flight ops based on our current pilot battle roster.
Now, this is a game and real life obligations take priority. We have students, family men, active duty and reserve military members. Our schedules are all across the board as a result.
To be fair to everyone, we need a general clarification to see who has the time to commit to Group events versus those who have very limited time. Hence our need to class each pilot in either an "Active" status or "Reserve" status.
Yes, you can remain a bomber pilot or a fighter pilot if your wanting to be known as a "Reserve Pilot" but there will most likely be a set minimum of participation expected from each member based on the concerns of the Groups leadership based on participation to date. For example, reserve pilots would be required to have at a minimum (1) monthly training sortie as well as (1) monthly official flight mission sortie to remain a reserve pilot. The Active pilot roster may be increased to say (2) & (2) as established minimums.
We just need to know where everyone is at with time availability as well as interest in being apart of the Group. I hope everyone understands because this is important to ask everyone and should not be taken in a negative light because that is not the intention.
