...But by raising the prices so high right now the oil company's are
just pushing us to find other way's much sooner.
It?s not the oil companies. OK, the prize for a barrel oil increases dramatically too but the biggest part for the prize you have to pay is the tax, not the oil itself. Therefore you better blame your government.
Well, at least over here in Germany it is the tax.
And you?re absolutely right, you?ll be pushed to find other ways and hopefully the selection of alternatives is as promising as it is over here. You?ll even get tax exemption or at least tax reduction, if you chose a certain alternative energy to warm your house and water for domestic use.
But somehow I have the feeling we are always talking about ?cars?, when talking about oil-prizes.

I just watched a video that was posted in the "soda shop" in the forums about "Who killed the electric car".
For all of us who are curious as to how all this energy stuff could be happening (or not happening) it's worth
your time to watch it. It answers why we don't have windmills and solar panels as well. Quite interesting.

Ty m8.
92 minutes is quite a long time. But fortunately I can even understand what they say. Though I?ve problems with american slang at times, this is very good to understand for me. Watched the first 5 minutes only and it looks very interesting.
Will post back when I?ve found the time to watch the entire vid.
