Equal numbers in open teams

My point being that there was an empty TEAM EVENT ROOM, WHERE YOU COULD HAVE FLOWN ANY PLANE, FROM ANY NATION. In other words you can fly on the SU team in a 109K4 or a Spit 14 or a LA7... and still go to 40k.....
But some in the game choose to get any advantage that they can. You could have gone to that room and flown on the same side with your squad.

BTW,Eski was one of the 9 I was referring to from the other night.

Not to mention who disrupted the EVENT last night showing up late and refusing to even the teams, even when the Event Manager asked them to switch .....They we had to stop the event and start over..........

The word ?Teams? usually involves two or more EQUAL teams, such as Football, Baseball, Amazing Race, etc. At any park, KIDS have pick-up games all the time, which involve EVEN teams. If more players show up they sit and wait for a break, a foul ball, or a time out or ask to if they can play and what team to join. Then, one or both the team captains decide where the new players would be placed to have an EVEN game.

I?m not saying we need team captains for every team game just use your head when you join any event besides FFA.

I like the Tuesday and Thursday Team Event Room w/1.5 map format, any plane any nation (suggested ? 20k cap) I can fly any nation with any planes and fly with my buds.

For the purist that need to fly old school Teams, join a squad and get more involved with more friendly events with other squads with a 2 squad format.

OK, I think many thinking this way. However it remains to be in humans hands, which doesn?t work well as we all have experienced. This is also because the players are all of a different age and/ or having a different gaming - culture.

So the easiest way would be technically restrictions.

It would be a shame if this meaningful debate became a forum for personal attacks. I'm really sorry you feel the way you do Tzu but it seems I can't do anything to atone for whatever I've done to hurt you. All the sysops and all my friends know who I am and what names I use. I freely clarify my identity to anyone who asks me in the arenas. No secrecy required. In fact I have often said I'd be happy if we all were allowed only one tag.

Way 1 we can go:
You have to select the team right at the launch and if this selected team has more pilots than another team you cant join.

Switching teams will be only possible from the launch page.

This concept is known in CoD gameplay and auto balances when players leave except when there is competition but as we know AA is old and is up to the vetrans to lead the way in open teams to set the example as stated or once again there will be only one team playing against themselves.

Very good points brought to the table on this issue and hopefully will straighten itself out or Tank gets unleashed:)

TANK made a valid point about his views when in teams. Something should and can be done. I will chat with the "powers who are" and see if we can come up with something. There is no reason to have such lopsided numbers in teams.

Yes TANK?s post sounds annoyed. He hasn?t fingerpointed at anyone and keeps his little rant generally. Possibly posted out of a bad emotion but he has a point there....

Update: I got told idle players getting booted already autom. in FFA after a certain time. I will ask Del to install this autom. feature in open teams-arena too. This is the least we can do. Beyond that it is up to the players, to take care about equal numbers. Again it has to do with sportmanship, fairness and farsightedness, we can?t expect from all players.
