the only person i can reply on is deadlock and cant say much for him other than i know who he is i know what he's done in other squads and dont think it will change but again thats my opinion and i'm entitled to it....he did fly in practice tuesday night and did quite well even though he was not on team speak.

well i think mabe a verbal intervew whould be nice a chance to comm with the pilots whould be a great help in determinating an appinion also it gives us a chance to ask quiestions and get a good read on there vocal responces . i whould like mabe a squad type meeting with them for a review of the man or women behind the text.

Sending out key parts of the application was an experiment. It was simply to show you the names of folks who has applied .. so that ..

1) When your flying .. you can intro yourself and stike up a conversation .. invite him to Team Speak

2) If you had personal bad experience with the bloke .. you could tell us

3) if you heard or observed something positive or negative .. that might be important to our consideration for acceptance .. you might be able to clue us into something

Up to recent times.. BSS was OPEN to all Rookies. If the shoe didn't fit ,, we simply got rid of it. It never happened so far........

Recently we have decided to put more attention to AGE .. however this does not block a pilot and is really persistant .. gets on TS and talks to us .. even if they are underage. One on One interviews do carry a lot of weight.

For the near future .. we will probably have a fairly open acceptance policy .. but both joker and I are looking at age .. deception, etc .. We give every application a chance .. If they are honest and forwith and fly with you guys in paractice etc , most likly they will be given a chance.

In the future .. you guys will get a vote of some type .. even so.. the CO and XO will have the final say so.
