Yes Top_Gun We are having practice before the match.

It starts at 12:00 PM EST. Washington DC time. We will practice for about 1 hour then take a short break and then get ready for the match.

We will perform TS comm checks, so have your TS up and running. THIS INCLUDES MICS.

I don't want to hear any feed back through desk top speakers, so if you have a head set, USE IT!.

Everyone, should by now have a copy of the brevity code, which can be found in our Flight School locker. We will practice this before the match, and go over what code we should be using.

The RESULTS ARE IN .. we LOST.

Yep, we lost the match but I'm happy to report that I see some improvement .. major improvement. What appears at first to just be a crushing defeat... I see as moving forward. I'm not real upset about this match.

The good

We heard plenty of chatter.

We saw a basic plan that everyone followed

We saw 'some' team work happening .. finally.

We had a full compliment of pilots .. this is very good.

We had a good pilot sit the first half so our newer pilots would get some 'competition time'

The Bad

Moving pilots from action line to standby too soon - wait until just before the match actually starts before moving a pilot to 'observation' (US Field)

Not knowing how to use a LA7.

Not knowing how to use a 109.

Not using TS to tell other pilots (in time) that you are covering them .. and what move to make so you can kill their 6 bandit.

Not setting up the bandit for an ez kill for your wing man.. or the team mate behind you.

The UGLY

Team killing .. killed our ratio again. We had NO team kills 1st half ..and almost made it thru to the end of the 2nd half before .. we blew it This situation is much improved, but I'm forced to put even one team kill in the UGLY column. Not as bad as it has been

Frustrations. This is BAD .. very UGLY to let that frustration show on the coms ..its bad enough to express frustration on Team Speak .. but very , very ugly when you 'voice' that frustration on the coms during a match. DON'T DO IT .. I WILL REALLY COME DOWN HARD ON YOU IF YOU DO. Any frustrations you may have .. just hold it for the after match debrief on Team Speak..
