Awww.. finally someone has ask the 'good' question.

What all pilots need to know is the speed of each plane at various alts.

What all pilots need to know is the gun range of each plane. We also need to know how cannons actually work etc

What all pilots need to know is the Strength and Weakness of each plane. Pilots also need to know that when we are flying a particular plane .. and come up in battle with another make/model plane .. what we should do for best approach .. and best avoidance.

This would be a lot of detailed information .. information that is out there on many forums or burred in posts made eons ago on UKAA / TAA or an old Squad site.

Should the BSS post the information as public .. or put it in the BSS Squad HQ area and keep it secret to BSS? Hell no .. share that info right here so that the game will have much better pilots all around!

tryed zoom and boom but i can even miss the ground in the 109 I am getting better though! Started using flaps which I must say has helped me ten fold so thanks! So Fru even using flaps you would out turn me, any more tips we (I) can steal from you?
And everyone please note I have not poked fun at our C/O in this post even once, I can be serious and respectful

I have no knolage of SU and from what Grim said fly US the same as GE

I am learning but at the minute fly basically the same in all planes which I know puts me at a disadvantage just I dont know any better!

109 gun range 1600 or 1700 feet. Spitfire gun range 2100 feet. So...when in a spit going h2h with a 109 you can do it and win, though probably not on the merge. What you do is watch the range and place the bottom on your cross sight on the target, not the centre. Open fire at 3000ft. Keep firing till about 2200ft, then break hard in a barrel roll avoid. If you get it right you'll have hit him, if only a little, before you're within his gun range. Having taken his wep and damaged him, you're in a good position to engage him and finish him off, as he won't be able to get away. Be careful becasue if he's any good, he'll realise he's now got only one good chance of taking you out and will probably try to use his E to climb and turn hard to get his guns on you asap.

The reason the long range works is becasue of your closing speed. By the time the rounds get to him, he's closed to effective range....Which is also why you have to break at 2000+ feet!

Well if that be the case if I'm right, try just using the typical standard key board

for every control command, hell not even a court's stenographer ios that fast!

And I might just throw in that you use Team speak using Mic and head set as

well in case a very close friend is near by that just might warn you or you him in code

about a bogie or bandit closing in on ya! "Right"

In conclusion, Temper gave me a clue to remove the tag name, so I could see

the plane better, I for one do not care who I shoot down pilots name irrelevant, but

the plane is: So he told me to hit Keys "CONTROL+SHIFT+F5 and it would clear the

tag for me, but, I hold Down Control and Shift at the same time with my left fingers

hit the F5 key with right at the same time! Stayed the same still saw AMAblaw _Blaw_

SU or what ever as an example, all I wan to see is this> ~ < and that my friend is

the plane: ~ if it's in FFA every man for him self, they are all the enemy, in team

events all I need to know is what color ++++++s Red, Yellow, Lavender, or Green,

if I join GB green, then I aint gonna kill my team mate intentionally!

I know spend money and buy a "Joy stick, Mic & Head set "Right",,,, That's why

And last but not least, I have flown them all, and they all fly at the same speed

period!!!!!!!!, unless your are damaged! and that's a fact Jack, I saw where some pilot

said I like the LA SU plane it is quick in turns and speed!!!!! over the Spitz GB plane,

I say bull crap! Same speed and manuvering if not hit!!!!! there is only one exception,

it's down fall is like your flying 2 planes at once: It's tail end: gives pilots much wider

target and that's the B38 rear ends, Hee Hee Hee! other than that, do not buy into that

crap, cause every one would choose an LA Blaw!

I already know how to fly and shoot at the same time and escape, I'm just too

After carefully reviewing all the posts;

Conclusion; On wanting to help the Newbie or Rookie as we are referred to,

1. Fact: the Computer & it's Operating System: is it a "Race Horse or a Nag" at the starting gate, which

dictates how fast the computer will respond to the commands along with your ISP provider DSL

vs dial up!

2. Joy Stick is (Secretariat race horse) vs Keyboard (Poky Old Mining Mule) for Control Commands in

flight and in general game play!

3. Your own personal Strategy, Tactics, and Skill to operate the Keyboard or Joy Stick!!!!!, any one can

talk and listen with a mic and head set, unless your deaf, dumb, blind and a mute!

4. All the planes fly at same speed, unless you have been damaged!!!!!!!! period! I read where some

one posted the capability of the "Spitz" it's "Outstanding" speed and handling, I say Hee Hee Hee,

I will sell you the Brooklyn Bridge for $1.00 any takers???? Common sense, Stop and think for 1-

second, if you believe that the "Spitz" is better? Then ask yourself this, "How come all Top Guns

ain't a flying em? like I said in the other post, I have tried em all out, even the added ones in

certain events, and I fail to see example: Spitz GB plane speed 350 undamaged and a SU what

ever & an US what ever & GE what ever all undamaged flying slower speeds! They all dance the

same in the sky, till either your hit or you lack experienced control skills only, And that my friend

is unknowingly hitting the wrong commands (keys or buttons) hitting landing gear down when your

in a fight or what ever you hit wrong to slow it down!, or fail to execute the commands!

5. PRACTICE ON AND OFF LINE IS YOURSELF THE BEST TEACHER!!!! unless you like seeing and

reading in "RED" "Blaw Blaw has destroyed you!!!! My self, I like Green "you hit blank percentage

damage to Blaw, but better still in "Blue" AlphaOmega Destroyed Blaw_SU for instance.

Irrelavant to topic/subject of thread. The process is the same regardless of what input device you use. Most players use a joystick , it makes no difference on Team Speak or not. Once in a turn fight use of Team Speak means nothing.

Keyboard is faster. Watch out for the pilots that fly with a keyboard... and you can tell because you can't match their moves as fast.

Sure offline practice is good for take off and landing and the basic's. If you run on the off line missions they do help a little also. The best practice .. is against another 'good' pilot where you can learn from an instructor .. using team speak in this type of practice session will really enhance the learning experience.

I was going to submit proof to you of what I stated as facts, pertaining to

Computers, key board & Joy Stick, but, for some reason, I kept getting an error

called "Mismatch", after 5 times redoing it, I simply said the hell with it! But I know

I will not get a Mismatch" error adding this reply!

My proof would have been backed up by the following; Microsoft, Dell, Gateway,

& etc technicians, but I guess they would be wrong too, The Dell technician laughed

when I told him you said I was " WRONG" about the computer & operating system

in it's function to play any game online! In fact, He could not stop laughing, the technician

said, "What Computer Company Did He Work For???"

So since I'm having "ERROR" "MISMATCH" come up to post the information he told me

to tell you, well, I suggest that you call one of the above, they are toll free calls!

Lastly, I really do not give a "Rat's _ _ _", one way or the other! Are you blind and can

not see and read the lol commentary pilots have said, They are throwing you a hint,

and that should be telling you something other then, those pilots just clowning around

and making wise cracks about how you instruct these NEWBIES such as myself.

This Forum was Flight School for beginners and the subject matter was Turning, I left

topic true in my proposal of a bet, But, I kept on topic, To my understanding, a computer,

keyboard and Joystick is what makes the plane turn along with the persons knowledge,

ability, and skills using these tools, You have been at it so long, it's going to your head,

Not sure as to what you really are saying mate. But let me assure you that all planes in this game do not fly at the same speed. Nor do they climb the same or fly the same, each plane has its strong points and weaknesses.

I personally fly the Spit 14 and 109k the most. The spits speed at 12k is 410+, at 32k the spit speed cooks up to 430 very easily. Now the 109k is not as fast but at 32k it will curise at around 415+ but climbs like a raped ape. A yak 3 is very manuverable but not very fast at any alt.

One rule is never follow a 109k up for he will out climb you and then turn and you will be dead.

If you would like some flying lessons please let me know might be able to show you a few things to help m8.
