Once you get used to lining up the tubes vertically in external view...
If you are planning on playing torpedo boats in multiplayer, don't get too reliant on this. Its likely that spectator view (or at least control actions during spectator view) will not be available - nor the pause key!

You can line up the 15 deg angle using standard binoculars, though its not as easy as targetting 'nocs.

Note that the forthcoming Imperial Schnelleboot fires its torps straight ahead...however, you have only 2 tubes (with 2 spare torpedos), so you can't fire a full spread in one pass.

heey people,

i got a TOTAL new tactic for mission #6 .

first try to sink 3 subs with only 3 fishs, this is possible by fast turning and firing.

make sure you save u last fish.

then the 4e subs has gone under ,but you still can see the bubbles of him .wait next to him.

active you trainer to keep alive and walk away from you pc for 20 minutes and just let you boat lay there. when you come back wait +- 10 min and the sub come up again ..... fire you last fish.....hit ! mission done :D

make sure you got the trainer(on internet) because try to stay live 30 minutes with enemy 2 DE is a bit hard :P .

good luck all and i hope you complete the mission.

bytheway; the game is great enigma!:

LOL...a tactic based on a trainer isn't a tactic. EVERYONE PLEASE DO NOT START A FLAME FEST ON THIS GUY!

Try it without the trainer so you can learn some real skillz. Trainers will not function in multiplayer....

I wonder if its possible to do this in a manner similar to what AK suggests, but without the trainer?

Kill 3 subs then run like hell, with DE's in pursuit. Do a big loop. Time it just right so as sub pops you are in position.

Anyone who tries this and succeeds (without a cheat!) I'll buy a beer Image

hi people,

ok east i shall also try the mission without cheat :)

and yes i also really wonder if this mission can be done the way i do with out cheats. looks rather hard ,you should know the exact time how long the subs stays under water.but then i could be possibly.

every1 good luck and remember enigma is great ;)

greatz ak

I did the mission without a trainer, but if I'm honest I cheated because I used external view and the pause key Image

Same tactics as bux although I didn't think (Homer moment) to use the pause. I also rotated the external view so it lined up with my tubes.

External view, fire long and don't hang around to see the impact get on the next one asap.

Practice, practice, practice Image . This one wrecked my average!

I managed to get 3 of the close range targets before 1 cowerdly capt'n hid below the waves.

I sent the Destroyer to say hello to the other destroyers and my other PT to harress the capt'ns some more whilst I moved my boat just a little to the side of the submerged sub. Turned the engines off and waited happily watching the Destroyers planting shots about my person.

I held out longer than the sub and it broke the surface where I let my last fish fly, started engines and sped away like a girly Image

But I finally did it.

The 5th sub I didn't bother with.
