I have a problem launching torps. Heck, I can't even figure out WHAT voice command to use to fire fish in a surface ship. *Eventually* I'll get it to work in a sub.

The actual fire command is either "Fire Port" or "Fire Starboard". First you have set the racks to either port or startboard though. I'm normally a submariner so I can't remember just now. Something like "Set racks to port." Check the in-game voice command help menu. It's one of the F keys.. F4 i think.

On DDs & DEs
Its first "Tubes Port" (or Starboard) to turn the tubes.
The use "Fire Tube"
On MTBs I seem to recall its "Fire Port One" (or Two) (or Starboard)

I can turn 'em, just not fire 'em!

I still find myself using my dodgey German accent (Habit from SH2 voice responses) but I swear it works better that way

good hint about the mike boost guys, ill try that i always have hassles with degrees. and set depth would have to be my most troublesome, but for the subs i use fire bow,fire stern.
ps. its okay reavesy you dont have to make excuses everyone understands your longing to join the ign. you can even captain that inflatable strapped to me deck..ill get back to ya on what number U-b im in, oh and ill put an good word in for ya with the kaiser.

The terms ' port ' and starboard ' , apply when in a Torpedo boat .{ example : :: " Port torpedo fire one "
After directing tubes in a surface vessel , by saying "Tubes port/starboard" just say " Fire Tube ".
It's all in the manuals . Much easier with voice .
Oh , and yes don't SHOUT too loudly if your microphone is turned up LOL !!!!

could sink any of your navy in a floating bathtub. I remember the time I was in the Dinghy HMAS Inflatable. We took down 8 German torpedo bombers just by using a mirror and the sun to blind the pilots. Then we attacked a convoy and captured three vessels using only our paddles and a wet spounge. Hmm on second thoughts i don't think that ever happened.
