Nope, we don't have a deal for the GOLD in North America. Dreamcatcher is not committing yet - it won't be out until Q1-05 at the earliest now.

I'd like to express my appreciation to TAG for working on a patch to bring previous retail versions up to scratch with the new GOLD edition. In my experiance in buying games (which I have many), the gold would have been released as a buyable MOD with a few new weapons and ships (like Road to Rome for BF1942 which in total i've spent Au$200). I understand that Enigma is still very much a work in progress but I am very happy that since I first bought the game it has improved significantly in both graphics and gameplay. /Salute

A for AMerica comes before A for AUstralia... so my m8's down south are jumping the guns a little bit much.. hehe
Serously though, East.. Im glad to hear youre getting the American version out soon, and not waiting for publishers to shelf the new product. I know the existing customers will appreciate getting up to speed for being here as long as several years in my case, maybe some of them longer.
I intend to buy a GOLD version of the box as well, when one of your publishers does finally get on board, so put that in Dreamcatchers email, and tell them to get off the bench. Other existing customers have already stated they will want the next box as well as a collector's item among other reasons.

Well, I guess I'll jsut keep waiting for the patch. I was going to buy the gold so I didn't have to wait (getting impatient). I will probably buy the gold version anyway, if it is ever released in US, just so you all know how much I love this game. Yes I do love it, even though I ahte how the Enemies AI seems to be 10 fold more accurate than my own AI

Truly the enemy AI aren't better, they just use different tactics than you. We are working out a couple of bugs in the Patch, but we may have the first one ready to go today....MAY have it...

I always think it is amazing how I can be so far away from another ship and yet they are so acurate with their torpedoes.. We just eyeball it and let em swim. It would be nice to have a plotting solution button that you could press and after say 20 seconds it would give you based on your current speed/bearing/range..and theirs....the best gyro angle and speed of your fish...Granted they won't hit if the target changes speed/heading but it would give us a better chance for longer range shots. If they are real close you wouldn't have time and would still have to shoot from the hip. But real subs had someone doing the trig.

Aye, I wouldn't mind something like that. Normally I see how far I missed on my first torp and make corrections but with a firing solution you can aim a lot better without wasting a torp.
