It sounds interesting, but where would I get the Parts? After all, I am only a student.
The link I posted, "Swampworks", has everything you'll need, except gel-cel batteries, and instructions on how to build the ship.

Actually, scratch that, I meant to say it has everything (including instructions) except the batteries. Sorry for any confusion.

I haven't been around for a while, but I am planning on attending the 2005 MWC Nationals near Lansing Michigan at the end of June. About 55-60 Captains and ships will be present, for an entire week of fleet and campaign battles. I'm taking my camcorder and digital cameras; I'll put some photos up afterwards.
I don't know if anyone's interested or not, but the photos and video clips are wildly entertaining, whether you're a skipper or not.

I have been a member of the Front Range Battle Group for 4 years now. I have a Brooklyn class cruiser and a North Carolina class Battleship. This is one of the most rewarding hobbies I have ever been associated with. I dont know where some of you are getting your parts, but if you are paying $2000 to complete a battleship, you should shop around. I completed mine for under $700 including the kit, radio, servos, batteries, etc. Ebay is a really good place to get your radios and such. If you need info feel free to reply to this post . By the way, Thank you Tesseraction for producing such a fine game.

Thanks for the corrections. I don't really know, since I never built a ship. I just have been intrigued for 4 years now, but never had the time or money to build a ship. (Also, no club in Chicago is a handicap. . . )
