I'm so excited I can't wait for the game to arrive lol....

I'm also considering on pre-ordering Dangerous Waters (another sim game).

Just a quick question about subs in Enigma... do all the subs technically look the same or do they all have different skins and/or armanents (weapons)?

Dangerous waters doesn't look too bad, but i'm saving my game budget up for silent hunter 3 (my weekly budget for games is low, so in a year i should have enough lol)

and yes, they all have different stats: the deck gun, AA guns, no. of forward and rear torp tubes

its in the factions section, it has a full list of all the subs and surface ships (cept the german MTB, i don't think its on there yet)

and they all look very different, the salmon has its con tower inclosed and forward of midship, the LFN sub is BIG, and the U-boats are sleek and rustic, in the Type 7's case, rusty for a peice of WW1 junk they are pretty good

and i doubt anybody would mind you asking questions, since none of them have been stupid/painfully obvious, you'll be right buxton:

Yeah Silent Hunter 3 looks pretty cool too. I'm new to the subsim genre so I'm starting with Enigma and later I'll move on to those harder sims... hopefully those harder sims won't be too hard to master (those controls look baffling crazy: lol).

Welcome to the real world

I just got the Full game, and I have to say...

The discrepency in difficulty between the demo and the actual game (pre- and post- patch) is amazing. It is challenging, but the good thing is that when you succeed you feel like you actually accomplished something... There's no feeling more rewarding than watching an enemy vessel slwoly slip beneath the waves en route to a watery grave...
